Overview:
The aim and scope of studies at the Institute of Biblical Discipleship is to teach the content of Scripture, central doctrines and practices of the Christian faith. All instruction will be geared to espousing a biblical worldview with an inter-denominational emphasis enabling students to develop a balanced view of Scripture.
Schedule:
The curriculum of studies will take place over a three-year period divided into six semesters. Classes will be held every Monday night. The Fall semester begins on the second Monday of September. The Spring semester begins on the second Monday of January. Each semester will last between 12 and 14 weeks. Short term seminars may be added as needed.
Eligibility:
Entry into the Institute of Biblical Discipleship is offered to men and women of all ages, from all Christian churches regardless of denominational affiliation. The minimum academic qualification acceptable is a High School Diploma. Equivalent Qualifications/Certificates will require Administrative approval.
Examinations and Certificates:
Certificate of completion of each semester will be given to students who fulfill attendance requirements and pass examinations. An absence of three weeks of classes without prior approval or doctor’s note will disqualify a candidate for the award of certificate. No certificates will be awarded to students who do not take examinations.
Graduation:
The Institute of Biblical Discipleship is a three year program. At the end of the successful completion of the three-year studies, by meeting the attendance and test requirements, a "Diploma in Biblical Studies" will be awarded at the Graduation Ceremony.
Personal Conduct:
A high standard of integrity, discipline, and moral conduct is expected of every student on the school premises and outside. Any unruly behavior in class, disruption of studies, and/or breach of Christian ethical tradition will be reason for dismissal from the Institute.
